Tamu Homes is dedicated to meeting the needs of the young individuals entrusted to our care. We place great importance on collaboration, working closely with professionals and organizations to ensure the well-being of our service users remains our top priority. Our primary goal is to provide a holistic approach to support individuals in care, aiming to address the imbalances some may face within the care system due to discrimination, racism, and negative stereotypes associated with disabilities, which unfortunately continue to impact many young people in care today.

Tamu Homes works in partnership with Social Workers, families, and therapeutic services to empower the individuals under our care to reach their full potential. During their stay, we assist them in developing their social skills through group living experiences and active involvement in community activities, fostering a sense of belonging and encouraging them to take ownership of their experiences.
